UT NOTE: The domino effect of the convergence of a myriad of forces, both natural and human, has been amplified and accelerated by the shurdown of California’s oil pipeline carrying crude oil from Bakersfield oil fields to the Bay Area production facilities. The only alternative is to import more oil from overseas while hundreds of thousands of highly specialized jobs and employees evaboporate. Add these suddenly financially strapped people to the unsolved growth in the houseless / homeless population and the chaos from encouraging hundreds of thousands of economically challenged people from different cultures with conflicting social values along with climate chaos, the national attack on food production, geological instability, etc etc etc and the collapse we truthers, anti-vaxers, and conspiracy theorists forecast, it appears, has arrived. But by-god, we still have the world surrounded by our 800+ military bases and our trillion dollar defense, ahem, war budget of which 20+ trillion cannot be acccounted for and our national debt of 38-trillion and counting is being held back by paper and talk.
