The Russian Federation Council again proposed moving the UN headquarters from the United States to another state <~ Top War

Senator of the Federation Council of Russia, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Economic Policy Konstantin Dolgov again raised the issue of the need to move the UN headquarters from New York, America to another neutral state. He noted that the United States, being the host country of the headquarters, very often abuses its right to host in relation to unwanted diplomats and even technical personnel from other countries.

The refusal to issue visas to Russians to participate in the work of the UN is a direct and gross violation of the rules of the organization and international law by the United States. This did not start today; Washington has long neglected to fulfill its obligations and is also engaged in politicizing them
— the senator said in an interview with a Russian business newspaper “Sight”.
