how common herpes viruses activate SV40

Henrietta Lack’s documentary below is about HeLa cells from her cancerous tumors which contain an enzyme only found in black people. HeLa cells are used in research such as vaccine manufacture. Cancer tissues from people around the world were contaminated with HeLa cells. (see 27 minutes) How is this possible? Could it be from vaccines manufactured with HeLa cells? Has science ever been transparent about these things?

The hunt for a virus which causes cancer led to Russians discovery of viruses inside people’s blood capable of causing cancer. Russia sent samples of these viruses to USA sciuentists who discovered these were HeLa cells. They said the virus Russian’s found turned out to be a “harmless monkey virus” (see 33:57). 

Could this “harmless moneky virus” be the simian virus SV-40 also found in vaccines which causes cancer?
