Let’s face it. The US Govt is a complete failure. Instead of solidifying the USA’s internal needs by keeping up stayin ahead of maintanance requirements — stuff gets old and breaks down, for instance — it has continued to devote focus and resources on policies that do not improve or secure the livelihoods of American citizens — super-rich, the exception — at home and abroad. Corruption is endemic throughout the US Govt, and Congress and the Supreme Court / justice system, and law enforcement are as corrupt as the administrative bureaucracies that “regulate” for health and safety.

And the infection has spread throughout the West, once known as the leading edge of democracy, now being attacked by the governments themselves. Desparate to hold onto power and not able to take responsibility for their failures.
