I refer to this type of gov’t behavior as the traffic-light-syndrome. A crosswalk is painted n a busy boulevard where children cross to get to and from school. Parents petition for a traffic light but it isnt until someone is killed that the “project” is approved and the light installed. By allowing new technologies fast track status if any regulatory speed control at all, govts all too often fail to protect the people.
