UT NOTE ~> The disease is spreading. I see it as a dangerous, youthful fad in the context of identity politics and virtue signaling, and, more importantly, an attack on parental rights and sovereignty in favor of government control of the the human body, which ironically the anti-abortion group is abetting. This is not to say that both sides of the all-or-none worldviews are not equally at fault. If there is a single blame, I would look at a society that breeds alienation as it allows itself to be led by profit and the the addiction to constant growth that undermines society’s ability to maintain what it already has so that its people can thrive. Original sin? The illusion of free will in which strong egos and competition are king, always at the expense of those who “lose”.
