Pam Popper ~> The Forbidden Chronicles: The CDC’s “Authority”

Pamela A. Popper, President Wellness Forum Health

A court decision has ended the CDC’s mask mandate for people using public transportation, at least for now. However, the Department of Justice and the CDC are appealing the decision. According to the DOJ, this appeal is not because scientific evidence shows that masks protect people from COVID-19, but rather to preserve the authority of the CDC.[1]

Personally, I’m against a group of non-elected officials having authority over anything or anyone in our country, particularly the CDC. For starters, the agency’s performance during this last two years is appalling, and the leadership has been incompetent. Robert Redfield, the CDC director when the fake COVID pandemic was declared, had a long track record of incompetence and scientific misconduct prior to taking the director position (outlined in detail in the chapter titled “Meet the Players” in the book COVID Operation: What Happened, Why It Happened, and What’s Next). Current Director Rochelle Walensky has demonstrated time and time again that she cannot even understand and accurately report information published in medical journals (explained in detail in the article titled “Dr. Walensky’s Favorite Mask Study,” posted in the Health Briefs Library).

What makes this even more frightening is that these issues are not new. The CDC has a long track record of disease mongering and incompetence. The agency falsely declared a flu pandemic in 1957, warning that it would be worse than the Spanish flu pandemic in 1918. A pandemic did not take place, but drug companies did get rich developing and bringing to market useless flu vaccines in response to the scare.[2]

The CDC did it again in 1976. Five soldiers at Ft. Dix contracted the flu, and one died after failing to follow his doctor’s instructions to rest. The five cases were deemed a “cluster” and the CDC geared up to monitor more cases. A “war room” was set up, staffed 24/7 with doctors, to address the coming disaster.[3] David Spencer, then head of the CDC, called for the most aggressive immunization program in history. Then-President Ford appointed a committee to implement the plan and publicly called for the vaccination of every man, woman, and child in the U.S.

The predicted pandemic never occurred, but vaccinations were quickly brought to market. Thousands were injured, there were hundreds of cases of paralysis and Guillain Barre Syndrome, and 674 deaths.[4] [5] [6]

Gross failure rarely results in improved policies for government agencies and health officials, so not surprisingly another fake pandemic was announced by the CDC and the World Health Organization in 2009. H1N1 was represented to be potentially as dangerous as Spanish flu (they do love that comparison!), and this time the entire world was involved in the hoax.

At the time the U.S. still had an honest press, and investigative reporting by Sharyl Attkisson at CBS News revealed that there was no pandemic and that officials worked hard to cover this up in order to promote vaccines.[7] [8]

The Committee on Social, Health and Family Affairs of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) investigated and arrived at the same conclusion. PACE estimated that $18 billion dollars had been squandered worldwide. The committee also determined that the World Health Organization colluded with drug companies to turn “run-of-the-mill” flu into a “pandemic.” Not surprisingly, the drug companies made billions of dollars, millions of people were vaccinated without cause and without evidence that the vaccine was even effective since it was not subjected to normal clinical trials.[9]

These facts combined with the events of the last two years are reasons why we should all be concerned about “preserving the CDC’s authority.” The CDC has repeatedly demonstrated its inability to manage anything well, and it has generally been led by people who have been incompetent, if not criminally liable for their actions. Our government wants to preserve this organization’s authority. Personally, I think our government should disband this organization now, before even more people are harmed.
