Navigating the Covid Confusion
The ICU of a major hospital in my metro area is down to zero covid patients. This, despite my metro area having a high percent unvaccinated. It seems like covid outbreaks increase with vaccinations. So, if you don’t want covid, the play looks to be to avoid being vaccinated.
Myocarditis risk is lower for the unvaccinated than the vaccinated. Pulmonary embolism risk may be lower for the unvaccinated than for the vaccinated. Certainly, my vascular surgeon buddy reports more clotting issues with the vaccinated than with the unvaccinated in younger people.
