The regulators of the pharma industry should not be funded by the industry they are supposed to regulate.  You get the mess we are living through.  This must end.  The FDA/CDC and most of the government agencies regulators are corrupted by having too close a relationship with the industries they are supposed to regulate.  We don’t need to look far to see how the relationship with the FAA and Boeing led to several recent disasters (737 Max) to know this close relationship is not acceptable.
