UT NOTE: Prof Guy McPherson is all about peer-reviewed science as it relates to human habitat and survival. He believes it is too late to save ourselves based largely on the global warming worldview.
The UT take on all that is leans very heavily into the worldview that environmental degradation which has been progressing and accelerating like pretty much all change since onset of industrialization. Evidence of the deteriorated and deteriorating environment are phenomena such as CV-19, not as a viral attack, but as a holistic envvironmental assault that is evolving at a rate that is too subtle for we humans to perceive using our five or six senses.
The exceptions to this reality are the people scattered here and there whose tolerances to perturbations in the environmental field are especially low. People who are highly sensitive and vulnerable to EMF, foods and food ingredients, chemicals, odors, etc are the canaries in the human health coal mines.
YES, McPherson’s a strong proponent of global warming. Don’t let that prevent you from discovering the parts of his presentation that are relevant even if, like me, you question the “human-caused” part of the argument. There can be no question that we are individually and collectively over-exposed to environmental pollution, regardless the role, if any, of carbon dioxide.
Are we in the chaotic transition between cyclical colling and warming, impacted by cyclical patterns of the sun? If so, what will be the far-reaching impacts?
