This story is a short lament about the golden goose du jour by the name of Omicron.

Before I go any further, I want to mention the article that I wrote some months ago about the war on natural immunity and ability. In that article, I talked about how the war on our natural immunity and the push for political correctness were the two sides of the same business plan. I believe they are marketing avenues designed to turn us into customers for life who are categorically unable to defend our bodies from pathogens and our psyche from mean words.

Denying the fact that we possess the ability to cope with things using ordinary means is the cornerstone of this new business model in which we have to depend on lucrative external tools for various internal processes, physical or emotional. This way, our usefulness to BlackRock investors is maximized. Like really maximized.

As far as Omicron, it’s an interesting thing. Because the new variant of concern is mild but terrifying, while the vaccines don’t work but do, we can be safely recycled and boostered, without turning the page in the marketing brochure. That is, until our natural immunity is fried after booster #5. (And yes, there are new studies demonstrating a decrease in broad spectrum natural immunity due to mRNA vaccines, I’ll post about it in a couple of days.)

Without further ado, here is a series of observations and thoughts on the subject.
