Predictably Random Observations: Episode 70

How easy is it for a biowarrior or an organization of biowarriors to drive or fly or drone into a location in Michigan, for instance or South Africa, and release the latest alleged variant of the alleged novel virus and the people living there would never know that that is why infections suddenly skyrocketed?

Is it possible to oppose the Green New Deal and still be in favor of saving the biosphere?

~~> The New Greening of Earth and the New Colonialism / Feudalism

Big money buying out property currently home to economically poor and indigenous people ostensibly to protect them … don’t look behind that curtain.

~~> The Three-sided Coin

Intentional or not, ignorance or not, the American Mind, with insufficient exceptions, is severely limited and dumbed-down by the cultivated and conditioned shared perception that the world is either black or white.

Either-or.

The failure to recognize and allow that the world is primarily grey and that there are no pure forms of capitalism or socialism, for instance, does no more than distract and prevent us from having constructive and respectful conversations about the problems we face in our day-to-day worlds.

Truth be told, the argument and division between average folk about socialism is bad and capitalism is good, or vice versa, is a sleight of hand deception that allows the powers-that-be to get away with an historical heist that began at the end of WW2 (or earlier) and has grown in leaps and bounds since then to be a false-divider.

There are no examples on the planet of pure socialism or pure capitalism. What we find are variations on the themes.

Hybrids

All of the planet’s governmental systems can be found on a yin-yang dial in which even the most capitalistic political system has socialistic elements; mostly socialistic systems have elements of capitalism.

Instead of all or none thinking, we need to discuss how far to turn the dial in which direction: toward socialistic principles or deeper into capitalism.

Unfortunately, we are in an era of global monopolistic capitalism which is not favorable to free market capitalism with dwindling public (socialistic) shared ownership and responsibilities. Some areas honor and promote the notion of The Commons, a more socialistic / societal notion of common good. National Parks and National Forests, for instance.

Law enforcement, fire protection, public hospitals and clinics, public schools, water districts, irrigation districts, military, parks and recreation facilities and programs…. are, generally speaking, provided by governments because they serve a common good, while small local businesses provide consumer services that we pick and choose to patronize.

Social-democracy or democratic socialism uses socialistic principles to protect democratic principles. Capitalistic democracies tend to allow and even promote big business that undermines democratic principles.

And then there is totalitarianism which can and will overpower either or both systems so as to cultivate a feudalistic / fascistic capitalism or socialism where the wealth and power are enfranchised at the top and laws are imposed by the powerful on the serfs, peasants and peons.

Membership in the “essential worker” class will require a digital passport with your social security number, medical injection status, biometrics for behavior control, digital cash, educational status, IQ, credit score, obedience score, etc etc etc.

We will own nothing and we will be happy.

~~> The Green New Deal is a Failure to Fully Grok the Predicament We Find Ourselves

The same marketing scam deployed to promote virus mania is being deployed to sell the alleged billionaire green program.

One of the things that make this possible is the reliance and promotion of the idea that a person, city, state, nation… is either pro-green or anti-green and thereby a shill for BigOil, etc.

Is there a third “choice”, one that will save the biosphere and habitat for all remaining species, especially humans since that is the only reason most people are even slightly concerned?

Green New Deal capitalists, the people and their multinational corporations that are most responsible for the rapidly deteriorating process that has not slowed down since public and governmental awareness achieved an early-in-the-process tipping point, must be stopped or they will continue to dangle the carrot of wonderful dreams and visions while child slavery in lithium and cobalt mines, for instance, keep on keepin on.

Consumption of the planet’s irreplaceable “resources” must be slowed down. Sadly, there are few ways to put what we have taken from Earth and put it back into the earth. 8-billion people cannot consume resources at the rate that North Americans and Europeans, especially, have come to rely.

So, what is a / the third way?
