To all those looking to the future a bit more hopefully today taking time to imagine what that can look like is something to consider since by many measures this is yet another crossroads for the US let alone the world.

After hearing a lot about the colonization of Mars fantasies recently that road seems a dangerous notion. Afterall a mission to Earth is far too long overdue and far more attainable. There are many huge mostly unaddressed issues here to attend to.

Looking to further commodify other places isn’t a sign of intelligence or progress. It only perpetuates the same belief in human supremacy as well as extreme consumption that created unhealthy ecosystems here while degrading biodiversity.

A Collective movement centered on lifting the marginalized through sharing Earth awareness and understanding only needs willing participants to be born. Zero extremely wealthy people are required to make it happen either.

An Earth mission won’t even be about more resource (relation) consumption from what I can see. A movement to make a healthier culture and human created development will spring out of a beautiful relationship to Earth not it’s abuse.

It won’t come from moving abuse to space either. This planet is a far less dangerous place than everything offworld. It has been made more so in the long run by colonial use and domination. It’s been a disaster for non human life and elements.

Looking to the leading financial beneficiaries of the planet’s abuse for guidance is Stockholm syndrome exemplified. Afterall besides being most invested in abuse culture, most often the rich are the least connected to a healthy Earth relationship.

It’s past time to mobilize for the planet, it’s life, the elements and the abused, working people that do the actual labor here.

We don’t need permission only a collaborative spirit of sharing to create an equitable compassionate culture that works for all people as well as all life and the ecosystems that support us.
