You better believe it, or you are a conspiracy theorist.

This morning, as I was walking around the city and mourning the suddenly “normal” apartheid signs on the doors of all restaurants, an analogy came to my mind. I think it’s a poignant analogy, so I feel like sharing it for whatever it’s worth.

Imagine, when it rains, some people open umbrellas. Let’s say, they are solid umbrellas. Which means that a person who has an umbrella will likely stay dry. Maybe if rains very heavily, one’s shoes might get wet—but in general, the person with an umbrella will stay dry. And if, God fobid, one gets wet due to a poor umbrella, one would go back to the store and demand a refund.

But then the bureaucrats come forward—sullen faces and a threatening tone—and say that in order for the people with open umbrellas to stay dry, every pedestrian needs to have one. And if a person with an umbrella gets wet—it’s because of the criminals without umbrellas. And from this point on, we all need to carry umbrellas, and get new ones every few months. And that’s just how it is. And those who object spread dangerous misinformation.

Methinks, however, that if people with umbrellas get soaked somehow, perhaps their umbrellas aren’t very good? Maybe there are holes in their umbrellas? Or maybe their umbrellas are falling apart altogether, risking to poke them in the eye with a rod?

That’s my analogy.

And by the way, I believe that the government actually needs the proverbial “unvaccinated” to point their fingers. If everyone went ahead and suddenly took the product at 100%, it still wouldn’t work very well—and so the bureactrats would have to invent the “unvaccinated”—or a new dangerous virus. Or aliens. When the goal is a reform, the goal is a reform.

PS. And here is a Kim Iversen Fauci video. Subjectively, I suspect that firing him at this point will do not a lot (again, when the goal is a reform, the goal is a reform). But given his murderous record since the 80s, it would be fair and existentially pleasing.
