Why does Europe treat Asia and Africa like its personal junkyard? 90% of Europe’s textile waste lands up in landfills in the global south. Apart from used clothes, there is also electronic waste. The garbage coming from Europe is hazardous to the health of millions. It is also not usable in most of the scenarios. So why does Europe refuse to take responsibility? And why have Asia and Africa become Europe’s personal junkyards? ​
