UT NOTE: This rosy salute to Walensky’s performance at CDC is more propaganda / misinformation. That a “Harvard” professor could get so much wrong while failing completely to improve the credibility and trustworthiness of the agency. should be a stain on the quality of education at Harvard itself. Between Walenski and Fauci, public health has suffered in all ways honest, professional, and healthful.

Amazing
Great post! It’s important to have discussions around the credibility and trustworthiness of public health institutions, especially during these times. However, I’m curious to know if you have any suggestions on how public health officials and institutions can regain trust and improve their overall performance?

  Glib version ~> Be trustworthy. Not-so glib ~> stop making every so-called infectious disease automatically viral. Be more like detectives, looking for all possibilities / variables / confounders, typically environmental, rather than something patentable / profitable.
