A Follow Up Vid: On the Digital Wall, Part II
Mel here. I decided to make a follow up video to my last standalone vid “Where Did the Rest of the Internet Go?”
Some people found that seeing the “digital wall” that has been placed around information as a depressing thing; I personally find it liberating to know the truth, but then again, that’s always been me I guess. I mean, which prison is theoretically easier to escape from: one that’s completely invisible, or one where you can see the bars?
Although I do think there’s a takeaway here that some people may have missed, and after ruminating on it for a few days, I decided to add a few more thoughts.
I love you all. We have so much more coming…
Talk to you soon,
Mel
“Fear of serious injury alone cannot justify oppression of free speech and assembly. Men feared witches and burnt women. It is the function of speech to free men from the bondage of irrational fears.”
