French biologist Gilles-Éric Séralini and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., chairman and chief legal counsel of Children’s Health Defense have something in common: They’ve both devoted a portion of their careers to exposing the toxicity of Monsanto’s Roundup weedkiller.

The two met for the first time on “RFK Jr. The Defender Podcast” where they discussed their work.

Séralini is a molecular biologist and an expert on genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and pesticides. He is a professor at the University of Caen and president and chairman of the Committee for Independent Research and Information on Genetic Engineering (CRIIGEN).

Séralini also is the co-author — along with Jérôme Douzelet — of “The Whole Truth About the Monsanto Papers.”

The book details how Monsanto attacked Séralini and deceived the public after he published groundbreaking findings about Roundup herbicide.

Séralini’s findings were reported in a 2012 Food and Chemical Toxicology article, which the journal’s editor-in-chief, under pressure, retracted in 2013.

  1. Kenneth T. says:

His problem is that he’s a biologist – because I’m a nobody, I can do all the exposing I want AND fly under the “try to kill me” radar.
Sadly, because I am the “nobody” I mentioned, no one will pay me any mind.

    • Actually, I find that people who actually know something about a scientific question don’t worry about credentials. People who have done the work can recognize when other people have also done the work–even if they lack credentials.

      • I think that what You said about scientists not concenrng themselves with credentials was true until the climate scare exploded into censorship with gaslighting that has intensified in the covid era. Insofar as Kenneth’s point, I rely on my obscurity as a form of protection from the jackboots. Another part of me sees my obscurity as a reason to go completely zen.

      • When is a scientist not a scientist?

Don’t assume that just because someone has credentials necessarily means that that person has actually done the work on a particular scientific question.

There is lots of non-science behind climate panic-mongering.

  2. We are learning the hard way that science takes a backseat to censorship / information control. Now with Dr Science Fauci, medical science has joined climate science as political science, which, of course, is not science at all.
