When we stop growing, we are dead…

“No pain, no gain.”

When it comes to paths to enlightenment, self-actualization, and/or authenticity, thatz pretty much the way of it.

When it hurts more to stay with the known, than it does to face the unknown, we will eventually make a decision to change.

Leaps of faith / leaps of trust / leaps of hope…

This process of change is one of shedding any and all of the ways that we adapted to varying degrees of trauma relative to our unique journeys. Severe trauma; severe adaptations.

Adaptations are subconsciously installed to block pain from interfering with our conscious participation in the life process. Ironically and sadly, all that is blocked from our awareness, impacts our lives / personalities in less obvious ways.

Self-talk with too heavy a negative message is our shadow’s way of gradually leading us to a point in our lives when our self-tolerance is exhausted and some or all of pain leaks out into awareness.

We are right now in a time when Ma Nature is gifting us with the pain of fear / FEAR as we approach what appears to be the home stretch in the collapse of the world as we have known it.

Comfort kills.

Discomfort grows

And the number one sign of life and living systems is growth.

When we stop growing we are dead.

About michael burgwin

A child of the peace and antiWar movements, a Truther with self-diagnosed Opposition Defiance Disorder, formerly politically liberal tho now politically marooned, and Post-Doomer, on any issue, I trend to the conspiracy side, sort through the absurd, fantastical and insane, until I find firm ground usually located just the other side of the censorship firewall of propaganda and orthodoxy, dogma, and other either / or thinking.
